The Managing Authority of the Interreg NEXT VIA Romania – Republic of Moldova 2021–2027 Programme announces the closing of the second call for small scale projects which took place between April 23rd and July 21st 2025.
This call was dedicated to Priority 1 – Green Communities and Priority 3 – Cooperation across borders with a total financial allocation of 14,635,839 Euros.
By the application deadline, 202 projects were registered, involving over 500 partners from Romania and the Republic of Moldova. The projects were submitted on the three specific objectives, as follows:
- Specific Objective 1.1 – Promoting climate change adaptation and disaster risk prevention and resilience, taking into account eco-system based approaches;
- Specific Objective 3.1 – Enhance efficient public administration by promoting legal and administrative cooperation and cooperation between citizens, civil society actors and institutions, in particular, with a view to resolving legal, capacity and other obstacles in the border region;
- Specific Objective 3.2 – Border crossing management and mobility and migration management.
