The Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Moldova, acting as the National Controller, with the support of the EU TESIM technical assistance project, is organizing a seminar for First Level Controllers (FLC) involved in the implementation of the INTERREG 2021–2027 Programmes.
The event will take place in Chișinău on January 16Th 2026, from 09:00 to 12:45, at the Summit Events & Conference Center – Red Hall (49/3 Tighina Street, Chișinău).
The seminar aims to strengthen the professional competencies of participants through a practical and up-to-date approach to expenditure verification.
According to Republic of Moldova’s Government Decision No. 576/2017), participation in this training is a criterion for updating the Short List of Eligible Auditors for INTERREG projects.
The working language of the seminar is English, and proof of English language proficiency is mandatory for registration.
The event will cover the responsibilities of First Level Controllers within the INTERREG 2021–2027 Programmes, focusing on improving the quality of verifications, managing procurement procedures, and enhancing the capacity to prevent and address irregularities and fraud.
