On Decemnber 13th, 2017, the 2nd meeting of Joint Monitoring Committee of RO-MD Programme took place in Iasi, Romania.

The main topics debated during the meeting were the stage of the implementation of the Program, the necessary steps for contracting the Branch Office of the Joint Technical Secretariat, as well as the preparation stage of the Large Infrastructure Projects included in the Program, currently in the second stage– the elaboration of the technical documentation for the approval by the EC.

In this respect, the Joint Monitoring Committee has mandated the Managing Authority to transmit the large infrastructure projects to the EC after completion of the verification procedures for their documentation.

Also, discussions took place on the actions that Moldovian partners have to carry out in order to finalize the management and control system in Republic of Moldova, but also on the calls for proposals. The Joint Monitoring Committee decided to launch the calls on December 20 with a deadline of 4 months and 15 calendar days for both hard and soft projects.

The meeting was attended by representatives of the both Programme Participating States and the Managing Authority.
