Joint Monitoring Committee Meeting
On Tuesday, December 10, 2024, the Joint Monitoring Committee meeting regarding the closure of the Joint Operational Programme Romania-Republic of Moldova 2014-2020 took place.
The meeting aimed to present the status of the programme implementation and the results achieved at the end of the programme.
The Joint Operational Programme Romania-Republic of Moldova 2014-2020 financed 84 projects, with a total value of 99.67 million euros of which 73 million euros represented non-reimbursable funds. The projects targeted essential areas such as education, health, culture, transport, management of emergency situations, as well as exchanges of experience, joint training, joint plans and strategies of partners from the two participating states.
By the date of the meeting, 65.59 million euros have been paid to the beneficiaries, consisting of both pre-financing and final payments for the projects that have already completed their activities, and in the next period, as the documentation is analyzed by Managing Authority, payments are also made to the rest of the beneficiaries.
