High interest in Chisinau for European funds under the Joint Operational Programme Romania-Republic of Moldova
Management structures of Romania-Republic of Moldova 2014-2020 Joint Operational Programme organised in Chisinau, on February 28, an information session for potential beneficiaries of the programme.
About 150 representatives of public authorities and NGOs from Chisinau region took part in this event, highly interested in obtaining detailed information about eligible activities and beneficiaries, and how to fill in an application form.
Moreover, representatives of the Managing Authority and of the Joint Technical Secretariat emphasised the most important aspects related to filling in the application form and sensitive issues the evaluation of the projects.
Furthermore, on March 14, 2018, a Partnership Forum will be held in Chisinau, within the framework of events organised for the promotion of the launched calls for proposals for the Common Operational Programme Romania-Republic of Moldova 2014-2020. The event, targeting potential beneficiaries from the Republic of Moldova and Romania, aims at facilitating partnerships eligible to apply for funding within the operational programme.
The information session in Chișinău is part of a series of seven session organised by the representatives of the management structures, aiming at introducing the financing opportunities by means of the Joint Operational Programme. In March and April 2018, eight training sessions will be organised in both Romania and the Republic of Moldova, focusing on technical issues such as filling in an application form, training on using the electronic system of application and on the stages of evaluation of a project, from applying to contracting.

The Joint Operational Programme Romania-Republic of Moldova 2014-2020 is financed by the European Union by means of the European Neighbourhood Intrument and addresses the fronteer area between Romania and Republic of Moldova. EU financial allocation to this program is EUR 81 million.
